We are very disappointed to inform you we have no choice but to cancel the Maverick Goldrush event February 2024. You may have heard the Ministry of transport has announced new wof rulings for off-road buggies, and unfortunately this means we can no longer drive them to the places we had planned for this event.

In the future we are hoping there will be an "event exclusion" for these vehicles, but it is very unlikely this will be passed in time for this one.

Many thanks for supporting this event in the past, and fingers x we will be able to hold it again in the future!

AFC Motorcycles, alongside Moto Mapped, are excited to introduce for the 3rd year running, the “Maverick Goldrush Adventure” (MGA), exclusive, and strictly limited to 30 Can Am Maverick drivers and their passenger.

From 19th – 23rd February 2024, the MGA will take you through some of the country's most stunning locations, and it's here we've packed in 4 days of outstanding, intense adventure driving. The rally will head from South Canterbury, Otago and into Southland, with access through private property, forestry, and DOC lands that side x side enthusiasts dream of! Endless gravel roads, 4 X 4 tracks, including technical sections and river crossings – all linked up with a free day in the middle when we move to Cromwell for the last 2 sections.

The Maverick Goldrush is all about offering an exclusive and spectacular experience – not to mention the fun we will all have in taking part – and what better way to do that than an epic 5 days exploring the lesser-known parts of the deep south while driving your Maverick.

This dossier features detailed information on getting you, your co-driver, and your Maverick all prepared and ready for this adventure of a lifetime!

WHAT IS INCLUDED…

In February 2024, The Maverick Goldrush heads down to lower half of the South Island. This is a region featuring spectacular scenery, stunning mountainous country, endless gravel roads, awesome 4 x 4 tracks, rivers to cross and special access into private land.

5 days will see us exploring the best the South Island has to offer. AFC Motorcycles and Moto Mapped are excited to put on this adventure, and we can’t wait to be driving alongside you all!

Entries are strictly limited to the first 30 Mavericks to enter.

Entry fee $2550.00 (Driver and passenger), includes:

· 4 Days and 1250kms of stunning South Island high country driving

· 1 rest day to travel from Omarama to Cromwell

· All land access fees and permitting

· Registration & scrutineering afternoon of 18th February

· Lead driver plus backup/sweep vehicle with parts

· GPS route downloads for each day

· Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner included for 4 days

· Driver pack including quality designer rally tees
