DESCRIPTION  

The Kriega Long Way Around is back in November 2026 with an exciting route planned, & a fabulous lodge booked for us all to spend Saturday night! This adventure ride event is a GPS navigated adventure ride, taking riders approximately 700km in 2 days, the long way around Lake Taupo and beyond, including offshoots onto private farmland and forestry roads and tracks you may never have had the opportunity to explore before.

On both days, the main route will be made up of a real mix of winding back country roads, gravel roads, and reasonably well formed off-road tracks through farms & forestry. Riders taking the challenge sections may expect steeper tracks and slippery areas and will be more of a challenge if wet!
