DESCRIPTION  

The Kriega Long Way Around will be back in November 2023 with an exciting route planned! This adventure ride event is a GPS navigated adventure ride, taking riders approximately 700km in 2 days, the long way around Lake Taupo, including offshoots onto private farmland and forestry roads and tracks you may never have had the opportunity to explore before.

On both days, the main route will be made up of a real mix of winding back country roads, gravel roads, and reasonably well formed off-road tracks through farms & forestry. Riders taking the challenge sections may expect steeper tracks and slippery areas and will be more of a challenge if wet!

On the Saturday night riders will be welcomed at a rustic and charming private lodge for the night, to relax at the bar and enjoy a delicious, well-deserved buffet dinner.  A social evening where everyone can share…
